The Department of Global Cooperation Welfare at Seojeong University is one of the special programs, focusing on training and providing international cooperation solutions in the field of social welfare. This program helps students not only gain professional knowledge about social welfare but also improve their ability to work in an international environment through global cooperation activities. I. INTRODUCTION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF GLOBAL COOPERATION WELFARE
The Department of Global Cooperative Welfare aims to train social welfare professionals through an educational program that balances theory and practice. Upon graduation, students not only receive a professional associate degree but can also earn two national certifications: Level 2 Certificate in Social Welfare Worker and Level 2 Certificate in Family Care Professional.
In addition, students also have the opportunity to participate in classes to improve professional capacity and prepare for private certificates such as: Elderly Life Guide, Psychological Counselor and Counselor, Interpreter Korean, and Korean Language Proficiency Test Instructor.
1.1. Opportunities after graduation
Graduates can work in social welfare-related facilities such as:
Nursing hospitals, nursing homes, home welfare centers, day and night protection centers.
Family centers, regional children’s centers, or start a business to become social welfare experts.
1.2. Global talent training
The department also supports international students to develop into global experts in their fields of expertise, responding to the trend of globalization. The systematic Korean language education program along with integrated creative education helps students spread Korean cultural values to the world, while sharing humanistic values.
The Department of Global Cooperation Welfare focuses on helping students grow in a cross-cultural environment, understand and practice from a comprehensive perspective of customers and the surrounding environment in diverse care fields.

In particular, since the 2022 school year, the department has implemented an intensive bachelor’s degree program, allowing students to work while studying to achieve higher education goals.

2.1. Training of practical social welfare experts
The Faculty focuses on training practical social welfare experts with high professional competence and relevant certificates in the fields of social welfare and administrative management.
Through a practice-oriented educational approach, students are equipped with the skills and knowledge to become professional social welfare workers.
2.2. Training talents with competitive capacity in employment and entrepreneurship
The Faculty aims to help students achieve high competitiveness in employment and entrepreneurship through:
Obtaining national certificates such as Social Welfare Worker and Family Care Specialist.
Enhancing practical internships in the field, thereby improving the skills and experience necessary for future careers.
2.3. Training Korean-style Global Business Experts
The department aims to train Korean-style global business experts who have international competitiveness to lead the national economy and enterprises in the era of internationalization and information technology.
2.4. Training Hallyu Content Experts
The department focuses on training Hallyu content experts who not only support communication and promotion to enhance understanding and adaptation to Korean society but also possess:

IV. Điều kiện tuyển sinh
Đối tượng:
- Công dân ở nước ngoài và người nước ngoài
- Người đã hoàn thành toàn bộ chương trình giáo dục tiểu học và trung học tương đương với chương trình ở Hàn Quốc tại nước ngoài (điều khoản 7) – Công dân ở nước ngoài, người nước ngoài, người đã được phép nhập quốc tịch theo khoản 2 điều 6 của Luật Quốc tịch (bao gồm người nhập cư kết hôn)
Yêu cầu về trình độ học vấn (Chuyên môn cao đẳng):
- Yêu cầu xét tuyển đối với người đã hoàn thành toàn bộ chương trình giáo dục.
- Đối với người đã hoàn thành toàn bộ chương trình tại ít nhất 2 trường nước ngoài có hệ thống giáo dục khác nhau
- Người đã hoàn thành toàn bộ chương trình tại ít nhất 2 trường nước ngoài với hệ thống giáo dục khác nhau.
- Tuy nhiên, trong trường hợp người đã hoàn thành ít nhất 12 năm giáo dục tiểu học và trung học tại ít nhất 2 quốc gia và có sự khác biệt trong hệ thống giáo dục giữa các quốc gia này, thời gian học toàn bộ có thể được chấp nhận ngoại lệ nếu thiếu không quá 1 học kỳ (6 tháng). Trường hợp này sẽ được xem xét đặc biệt nếu hệ thống giáo dục của quốc gia đó cho phép việc chuyển lớp hoặc tốt nghiệp sớm theo quy định của pháp luật về giáo dục (việc chuyển lớp trong quá trình chuyển trường không được chấp nhận).
