About TOPIK

One of the exams to assess foreign language proficiency for those who are starting to learn Korean that you need to know and experience is the TOPIK exam held annually in Vietnam and Korea. TOPIK TEST SCHEDULE AND RESULT RETURN 2024​​

* Exam time :

TOPIK I: 9:40 -11:20

TOPIK II: 12:50 -16:20

Note : Candidates must be present in the correct examination room, at least 30 minutes before the announced examination time. After this time , candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination room .

II . REGISTER FOR TOPIK EXAM IN VIETNAM​

The exam area in Vietnam is limited in terms of organization , so during the admission periods of the year , the number of students registering is usually very large .

In Vietnam , IIG Vietnam Education Organization is the national representative recognized by Niied .​​​​​​​ Authorized to implement TOPIK test from TOPIK 87 ( April 2023 ) .

1. Exam fee :

• TOPIK I: 550,000 VND ( including VAT )
• TOPIK II: 770,000 VND ( including VAT )

** Note :

• Candidates are not allowed to take the exam and have their exam fees refunded if they have successfully registered for the exam or violated any of the regulations of IIG Vietnam .
• After completing the registration information , candidates need to pay within 30 minutes . If payment is not made within the specified time , the candidate ‘s application will be canceled and the candidate will have to re – register from the beginning .​​​
• In case of force majeure , candidates will be refunded according to the instructions in the TOPIK test registration regulations .​​​​​​​​​​

1. Documents to prepare :​​​​​​​

• ID photo file : size 3cm x 4cm .
• Identity document file ( front and back ) .​​
• Bank card / account linked for online payment .​​
• For candidates with temporary / permanent disabilities who wish to take the TOPIK exam , please read carefully .​​​​​​ Instructions on supporting candidates with disabilities and completing the application form are due by the last registration date of the exam .​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
• How to receive exam tickets : It is expected that an email with instructions on registration number and exam room information will be sent to candidates 02 weeks before the exam date , so candidates please check their email regularly .

• Results are announced . Candidates can view their scores and print their personal score sheets for free on the website: TOPIK.go.kr

. REGISTERING FOR TOPIK EXAM IN KOREA

Registration in Korea has become easier as most Korean localities and universities hold the exam . You just need to find a convenient location and register .​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Method 1 : When you are studying and working in Korea , you can register directly at TOPIK.go.kr or register online .​​​​

1. Detailed registration instructions​​​​​​​​

• Step 1: Go to the home page topic Click on the icon 시험 접수 – log in ID information

• Step 2: Choose the exam and the level of the exam topic you want

• Step 3: Fill in personal information

  Full name (English) – Date of birth – Gender: Male/Female

• Step 5: Enter ID photo and Fill in personal information

  ID photo size 413X532, Image file under 200kb, taken within the last 6 months

• Step 6: Choose a bank and pay

Method 2: Before the exam, Korean language schools will post an announcement. Please pay attention to this announcement and bring your foreigner card 외국인등록증 and cash. At school, teachers will help you register.

**Note: When registering at school, if you do not know where to print the exam form before the exam, you should come early so that the exam organization can help you print the exam form.

Exam fee:

• TOPIK I: 40,000 KRW (including VAT)
• TOPIK II: 55,000 KRW (including VAT)

IV. NOTES IN TOPIK EXAM

• Candidates must be present and seated at least 20 minutes before the exam time. Exactly 20 minutes before the exam (TOPIK I: 9:10 am; TOPIK 2: 12:20 pm), the exam gate will close. Any candidate who arrives after the exam gate has closed WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE THE EXAM.
• Bring the exam ticket and identification documents with full name, date of birth, photo such as ID card, passport, etc.
• Submit your mobile phone to the invigilator when entering the exam room (to prevent cheating). Any act of not returning the phone to the invigilator will be considered a violation of exam regulations and the candidate’s exam will be canceled.
