Most colleges and universities in Korea do not have an entrance scholarship program for new students in the Korean language training program. However, from the second semester onwards, students have the opportunity to receive scholarships based on their academic performance. I. KOREAN LANGUAGE TRAINING PROGRAM
Korea University of Technology does not have a scholarship program for new students . The D4 Korean Language Scholarship Program is applied to students starting from the second semester of studying at TUK .
1.1 . Conditions for receiving a scholarship :
- Students achieved excellent results in every class ( from 1st to 3rd place ) ;
- The total score of the semester is 90 or higher ;
- Attendance score from 90 and above ;
- For students registering for Korean language courses in the next semester .
1.2 . Value of the program :
- Rank 1 : students receive 30 % of tuition / semester
- Rank 2 : students receive 20 % of tuition / semester
- Rank 3 : students receive 10 % of tuition / semester
Tuition fee per semester is 1,300,000 KRW
II . SYSTEM OF TRAINING PROGRAM UNIVERSITY
TUK has a specialized scholarship program for new students based on Korean language ability and a scholarship for individuals with excellent academic performance throughout the semesters . The scholarship level is calculated according to Korean language level from Topik 3 to Topik 6 and is only applicable for the first semester . In subsequent semesters , the scholarship will be calculated for students with high GPA from 2.5 to 4.0 or higher . Students can refer to the scholarship value information table below :
